26th HVACR Expo and Conference continues in Expo Center Karachi

KARACHI: The year’s largest engineering products and services event ‘26th Pakistan HVACR & Building Services Expo and Conference’ continues in Expo Center Karachi in full swing.

Speakers from American Society of Heating, Refrigeration and Air-Conditioning Engineers (ASHRAE), Pakistan Heating Ventilation, Air-Conditioning and Refrigeration (PHVACR) society and other industry experts presented different topics in the conference related to work-safety, climate-change, green housing projects, and future of the industry in 2030, along with sustainable architecture, Pakistan’s New Energy Future in context of NAYA Pakistan Housing Program and various others.

Hammad Shamimi – Joint Secretary of International Cooperation and National Project Director National Ozone Unit along with other international ambassadors of ASHRAE were briefed about the climatic challenges being faced by Pakistan and were requested to extend the efforts to tackle climate change and other related issues, in the long-run.

Speaking on the occasion, Junaid Esmail Makda, President – Karachi Chamber of Commerce & Industry said that, “Events like PHVACR expo add value to the overall economy of this country. We really appreciate the ideation of the PHVACR expo and are hopeful to see more of such events. We further request the society to organize this expo in all the provinces of Pakistan”

More than 300 exhibitors from the HVAC industry, engineering universities and other electric solution providers have setup around 600 stalls in 7 halls of the venue. Many visitors from different fields of occupation are visiting the expo including the domestic customers as well.

The 3-day PHVACR expo will conclude today – 15th February.
