Cases of Coronavirus once again started surging in Pakistan after declining of three months. Pakistan’s total coronavirus cases reached 304,386 on Friday after it reported 752 new cases with nine deaths.
In the last 24 hours, 33,865 people were tested for the novel virus across the country. So far, Sindh has reported 133,125 cases, Punjab 98,142, Balochistan 13,991 and KP has recorded 37,242 infections.
Meanwhile, Islamabad has 16,033 confirmed cases, Azad Jammu and Kashmir has 2,472 and GB has 3,381 cases. There are 6,295 active cases in the country.
In the last 24 hours, the novel virus claimed nine more lives, taking the death toll to 6,408.The country also reported 514 new recoveries. So far, 291,683 people have recovered from COVID-19 in Pakistan.
