Air Chief Marshal Mujahid Anwar Khan provides C130 to carry PIA pilots
1 min readISLAMABAD: On request of Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Air Marshal Arshad Malik, Chief of the Air Staff Air Chief Marshal Mujahid Anwar Khan HI (M) provided C130 transport plane to carry PIA pilots who volunteered to fly sorties bringing back stranded Pakistanis from abroad due to COVID-19 outbreak.
The pilots flying in from Karachi to Islamabad will be part of the PIAs relief operations, spokesman of PIA said here on Wednesday.
These pilots volunteered themselves to thwart away undue pressure imposed by few self-oriented individuals on the management.
Speaking on the occasion, CEO PIA thanked the Air Chief, Officers and staff of Pakistan Air Force for always stepping forward in the time of need as these pilots was critical for resuming flights for affected countrymen.
He also reiterated to the nation that so long such dedicated volunteers are there, PIA will never desert the people of Pakistan and will do everything within our grasp to serve this great nation.
