Attack on Chinese Consulate a big conspiracy against Pakistan: PM Imran Khan
1 min readISLAMABAD: The attack on the Chinese Consulate in Karachi is a big conspiracy against Pak-China relations, said Prime Minister Imran Khan while condemning the attack.
In a statement issued by the Prime Minister House, the prime minister ordered for an immediate inquiry of the attack.
Security forces successfully foiled the attack on the consulate located in Karachi’s Clifton Block-4 area. Two policemen were martyred and a security guard injured as three terrorists tried to enter the Chinese Consulate.
The terrorists were killed before they were able to enter the consulate.
The prime minister said the elements and motives behind this attack should be uncovered.
Prime Minister Khan stressed that the nation was proud of the prompt action of the Rangers and police. He paid tribute to the policemen who were martyred foiling the attack.
The prime minister termed the attack a conspiracy against Pak-China economic and strategic relations. He added that such attacks would not derail relations between the two countries.
