CEO Hascol Petroleum Ltd submits his resignation

KARACHI: The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Hascol Petroleum Limited has submitted his resignation from the post CEO and his resignation have been approved by its Board.
According to the sources, there was a lot of internal pressure on CEO Hascol Petroleum, Saleem Butt as he was committing some irregulatories in the company.
Saleem Butt has given three-month notice period to the company, which the board approved.
The board in its meeting held today has shortlisted a candidate for the appointment as the CEO in place of Saleem Butt who will be appointed once all legal formalities are completed at which point a separate notice will be issued. Until that time, Salem butt will continue to perform his role as CEO of the company, a notification said.
