FBR launches online payment system for tax payers: sources

KARACHI: The Federal Board of Revenue Pakistan (FBR) has launched an online payment system for tax payers, the industry source said.
It is stated that tax payers can currently pay their due taxes straight away from their internet bank account or using debit card at the ATM.
Furthermore, the FBR stated that this is an innovative scheme of the board for payments through ATM/Internet Banking for Income Tax, Sales Tax, Federal Excise Duty & Customs Duty.
Also, the FBR authorities notified the taxpayers that online collection system e-payments module and Online banking is currently live on experimental foundation.
However, following are the list of Banks on which this facility is accessible, Askari Bank, Bank Alfalah, Meezan Bank, NBP, Habib Metro, ICBC, Soneri Bank, JS Bank, MCB, UBL, HBL, ABL, Summit Bank, Bank of Punjab, Bank Al Habib, Faysal Bank, Silk Bank, Bank Islami.
