FBR to formulate new tobacco policy by May
1 min readISLAMABAD: Federal Board of Revenue in collaboration with the World Health Organization (WHO) will formulate a new policy to check the quality of tobacco in order to prevent the spread of various diseases, the Radio Pakistan reported.
According to FBR Member Inland Revenue Hamid Atiq Sarwar, the new policy would be ready by the end of May this year.
Hamid Atiq Sarwar emphasized that the aim of the new policy is to regulate the sale of cigarettes while all the illegal and fake cigarettes would be destroyed.
