Greenback closes at Rs 165.54 in Interbank after touching Rs 169
1 min readKARACHI: The US dollar has slightly declined by 59 paisas to Rs 165.54 in Interbank market in the evening at closing time today. The dollar had touched Rs 169 in the morning, the bank sources said here on Friday.
According to source, the dollar was trading at Rs 169 in first half. The greenback starts sliding when some inflow received from abroad, source said adding that SBP also supported the local currency. The local currency witnessed a recovery of Rs 3.96 in a day, the source claimed.
The US dollar had increased by Rs 6.87 against the Pak Rupee in last four days.
