ISPR says COAS visits LoC and was briefed on Indian ceasefire violations
1 min readRAWALPINDI: Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) Wednesday said that Chief of Army Staff General Qamar Javed Bajwa visited the Line of Control(LoC) where he was briefed on the ceasefire violations by Indian security forces.
In a statement the ISPR, the general commanding officer briefed the army chief about the Indian violations and Pakistani forces’ retaliatory response.
The army chief said that recently the Indian violations have increased and their military leadership has frequently started giving aggressive statements.
General Bajwa said that Pakistan has a sturdy and professional army, which is always ready to defend its motherland. It is better to have negotiation to resolve issues through mutual agreement, said the army chief.
The army chief met with soldiers deployed at the LoC and raised their morale. COAS General Bajwa also lauded the determination of the Kashmiris affected by Indian security forces.
