Kia Stonic to be launch in Pakistan soon

Lucky Motor Pakistan has introduced an updated version of its long-serving Kia Stonic facelifted in the country with a price range between Rs 5.7 to 6.3 million.
However, the facelifted Stonic will arrive in Pakistan soon depending on market’s demand. Kia has focused more on Sportage and Sorento due to higher demand, import challenges and price Sensitivity.
The ongoing restrictions on CKD imports may delay the launch of the facelift in Pakistan. With rising car prices, introducing a refreshed model might depend on Kia’s pricing strategy, the experts said.
If KIA brings the updated Stonic to Pakistan, it could give the brand a competitive edge in the growing compact crossover segment, especially against the Honda HR-V and Toyota Corolla Cross.
According to Autocar UK and CarScoops and others experts, the facelift focuses on sharper design lines, updated LED lighting, a new digital cockpit, and enhanced driver-assist technologies. The 2026 Stonic features refreshed styling, upgraded tech features and improved efficiency, aiming to remain competitive in the crowded crossover segment.
Lucky Motor, which has introduced a South Korean KIA Stonic SUV in Pakistan in late 2021, is a best-selling vehicle. It sits below KIA Sportage and competes with Honda HR-V, Toyota Corolla Cross, and Suzuki Vitara (used imports).
The facelifted Stonic made its global debut on September 1, 2025. Production is scheduled to begin later this year in South Korea and Slovakia, with sales rollout in phases. The new model will first be available in showrooms in Korea and Europe in early 2026, followed by Australia, the Middle East, and South America in mid-2026. A North American launch is expected in the third quarter of 2026.
Pakistani buyers are increasingly seeking stylish, fuel-efficient, and tech-savvy vehicles that fit urban lifestyles. A facelifted Stonic with modern features and possibly a mild-hybrid option could attract younger car buyers looking for something more premium than small hatchbacks but more affordable than full-size SUVs, the experts said.
The new Kia Stonic represents a bold step forward for Kia’s global crossover lineup. While Pakistani buyers may have to wait before this refreshed model hits local roads, the international reveal signals KIA’s commitment to keeping its lineup fresh and appealing. If introduced here, the updated Stonic could reignite interest in a segment that is becoming more competitive by the day.
