Maersk Pakistan rejects false rumour regarding cancellation of its license

KARACHI: Maersk Pakistan strongly rejects the false allegations repeatedly made by a media website which is spreading misleading news of cancellation of the Maersk license and closure of our business in Pakistan.
The company in a statement said that these claims are an attempt at defamation and Maersk Pakistan has initiated legal proceedings against the liable party, under the civil and criminal jurisdiction of Pakistan.
Maersk Pakistan has a long-standing commitment to the country in enabling global trade and contributing to its development. Maersk strictly abides by international law as well as local applicable laws and is committed to operating with transparency and integrity, the statement said.
