Mobin Saulat resigns as MD Interstate Gas Systems
1 min readISLAMABAD: The Board of Directors Tuesday accepted resignation of Mobin Saulat, Managing Director (MD) Interstate Gas Systems (ISGS) and directed to initiate process to appoint new MD.
Mobin Saulat has resigned amid a row with board of directors of the company, the sources told. Board of Directors of ISGS was not comfortable with the progress of MD which led to resignation, the source claimed.
They said that acting charge had been given to joint secretary petroleum Saira Najeeb. Meanwhile, board of directors had directed Human Resource Committee to start the process of new permanent managing director.
During his period, Mobin Saulat worked to deal with gas pipeline projects like TAPI, IP, North South Pipeline, South North Pipeline projects. He had also helped to sign deal with first LNG terminal project set up by Engro Group.
