Pak Army kills 23 terrorists in 3 different IBO in KP
2 min readThe Security forces of the country, in an Information Based Operation, killed at least 23 terrorists in three different Intelligence-Based Operations (IBO) against the terrorists in Khyber Pakhtoonkha here on Monday. During the operation Captain Hussain Jahangir and Hawaldar Shafeeq Ullah were also martyred.
All the terrorists were involved in the attacks on security forces and innocent citizens of Khyber Pakhtoonkha, the Public Relations Department of Pakistan Army (ISPR) said.
According to ISPR, six terrorists were killed IBO in Peshawar. In the second operation of Taunk, ten terrorist were killed.
In 3rd Intelligence Based Operation, the securities forces killed seven terrorists in Bagh area of Khyber Pakhtoonkha. According to the ISPR two terrorists got injured and were arrested by the security forces.
The ISPR official claimed that five officials of the security forces were martyred in the exchange of fire in Bagh operation. Among the martyred officials are Naek Mohd Ashfaq Butt, Las Naek Syed Danish Afkaar, Solder Taimur malik, Nadir and Mohammad Yaseen.
The Security Forces also recovered different weapons, bullets and explosive materials from the possession of terrorists.
The martyrs who lost their lives during the intelligence-based operation against the terrorists in Hasan Khel area of Peshawar have been laid to rest.
According to the ISPR, the funeral prayers of Captain Hussain Jahangir Shaheed and Havaldar Shafiqullah Shaheed were performed in their native areas while the martyrs were buried with full military honors.
The funeral prayers of martyrs were attended by senior serving military officers, families of martyrs and local people in large numbers.
Our sacrifices further strengthen our resolve, the ISPR says, Pakistan’s armed forces are determined to eliminate the scourge of terrorism from the motherland at all costs.
The Security Forces had killed 5 terrorists while carrying out an intelligence-based operation in Hasan Khel area of Peshawar, while Captain Hussain Jahangir and Havildar Shafiqullah were also martyred.
