Total confirmed coronavirus cases rise to 1526, Karachi 181, Sindh 481, Punjab 558, Balochistan 138, KP 116 and Islamabad 43.
KARACHI: Total confirmed coronavirus cases have gone up to 1526 in Pakistan after increasing 99 new cases in just 12 hours.
According to latest statistics released by the National Command and Control Center, 99 new coronavirus cases have been confirmed throughout the country, while 481 in Sindh after an increase of 12 new cases and 558 in Punjab after a rise of 61 new cases. The virus is spreading rapidly in Punjab.
Balochistan declared 138 cases after adding 5 new cases, while KP 188 after 8 new cases, Islamabad 43 after 4 new cases, Azad Jammu Kashmir and GB 116 after 7 new coronavirus cases.
Sindh confirmed 17 new COVID-19 cases of local transmission in Karachi on Saturday. There are now 181 COVID-19 cases in the port city. Thus far, a total of 13 people have recovered in the metropolis and 170 people are under treatment
