PM Imran offers energy ministry portfolio: Asad Umer tweets

Finance Minister Asad Umer has tweeted few minutes ago that he will not take any cabinet position as part of a cabinet reshuffle. The Prime Minister Imran Khan has offered him portfolio of energy ministry.
In his tweet, the finance minister said, “I strongly believe @Imran KhanPTI is the best hope for Pakistan and inshallah will make a naya Pakistan.”
There have been reports that Prime Minister Imran Khan is unhappy with the performance of Finance Minister Asad Umar and that he might remove him.
Asad Umar appeared on a tv show yesterday where he was asked how will he react if he is removed as the finance minister and is given some other portfolio.
Responding to this, the minister said that he was living a good life before joining politics.
“I had no plans of joining politics but Imran Khan repeatedly used to say to me that Pakistan needs me. Then I said I will come to politics if Pakistan really needs me. If I can work for the betterment of Pakistan then I will continue to do so,” he said.
