SECP issues notification for appointment of Farrukh Khan as new PSX CEO
1 min readKARACHI: The Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan (SECP) has Tuesday issued the notification for the appointment of Farrukh Hussain Khan as Chief Executive Officers (CEO) of Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX).
This post was vacant after the resignation of Richard Morin on May 28 this year.
The notification said that Farrukh Hussain Khan will assume the charge of his office in due course of time.
It further said, “the SECP has approved the appointment of Farrukh Hussain Khan as Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of PSX, in terms of regulation 10 of the Securities Exchanges (Licensing and Operations) regulations, 2016.”
Farrukh H. Khan is the Chief Business Development Officer at Acumen and member of Acumen’s Management Committee. In his current role, Farrukh is responsible for global business development and fundraising activities.
Previously, Farrukh was the Country Director & CEO of Acumen Pakistan, where he was responsible for investing, business development and leadership development activities.
