Toyota Yaris to hit Pakistan roads next month
2 min readKARACHI: Indus Motor Company (IMC), manufacturer of Toyota vehicles in Pakistan, Thursday announced to launch its new brand ‘Toyota Yaris’ at an attractive price of Rs 2.349 million.
The company commenced bookings of its new vehicle on March 19, said a statement of the company.
The company said that IMC has invested around Rs 8 billion in Pakistan to manufacture its new model of Toyota Yaris.
Talking about the Toyota Yaris, Ali Asghar Jamali, CEO IMC, said, “we are glad to commence bookings for Toyota Yaris, which will be available for delivery in the month of April 2020.” Under the development concept of ‘The New Value Pioneer’ the company has focused on enhancing the design and comfort to offer the best in class value to the customers, he added.
The CEO said, “With our Company’s commitment to delight customers with a wide range of products, Toyota Yaris would be an addition to our wide product range, providing customers with a choice based on their driving needs.”
Toyota Yaris will be available in 1300cc and 1500cc engine displacement in 6 variants. The introductory ex-factory prices for the 1300cc sedan starts at Rs 2.349 million for GLi MT whilst the ex-factory price for the 1500cc top-of-the-line version, 1.5 ATIV X CVT, is Rs 2.809 million.
The gasoline only vehicle is set to attract new customers with key features including Smart entry & Push start, 5 speed Manual Transmission & 7 speed CVT, MID with 4.2-inch TFT screen, Auto AC, Steering switches and 6.8-inch capacitive touchscreen infotainment system.
Toyota Yaris also has safety features in all its variants which include Dual SRS airbag, Standardized ABS, EBD & TRC, Vehicle Stability Control (VSC), Brake Assist, Hill-start assist control (HAC), New Seat belt reminder for both Driver & passenger, ISOFIX child seat anchors, Reverse camera and Traction Control.
