ATTOCK: Police Monday morning found two dead bodies from Fateh Jhang in Attock district. The bodies identified as two doctors who were abducted five days back.
The bodies were found from the Small Dam area in the district and were shifted to a nearby medical facility for medico-legal formalities, said a police official.
The deceased, identified as Dr Iftikhar and Dr Aziz, who were abducted from Gali Jagir, adding that they hailed from Islamabad. Dr Iftikhar was returned to Pakistan from the United States a few days back, said the official.
Earlier, on Jan 30, an abducted neurosurgeon from Quetta, Dr Ibrahim Khalil, had safely returned home 48 days after his abduction. The kidnappers reportedly dropped off him in a neighborhood in Chaman.
Reports relayed that Rs50 million was paid for the recovery of Dr Khalil.
