Bahria Foundation working to set up Shipyards, Ports, LNG Terminal in Karachi

KARACHI: Bahria Foundation is working closely with various International experts for the construction of Shipyards, Ports, LNG Terminal etc in Karachi, which are considered mandatory for the future Pakistan’s prosperity.

This was disclosed by Commodore Akbar Naqi, Deputy Managing Director of Bahria Foundation said, “Bahria Foundation (Component of Pakistan Navy) is engaged in diversified activities with local and foreign entrepreneurs, which include Industrial, Commercial, Education, development etc.” Thus Bahria Foundation (Pakistan Navy) is contributing positively in National Development and Social Sectors of our beloved country.

Bahria Foundation is doing its all-out efforts to promote “Maritime Sector of Pakistan” as Pakistan is blessed with approximately 1000 Kms Coastal Line and also heavily dependent on Sea Trade as 90 per cent of Pakistan trade is through sea.

Bahria Foundation is specially focused in promoting Maritime Domestic Tourism and has joined hand with private part as joint venture.  The boats will operate from Karachi Keamari for Harbour Cruise/Coastline and will be a gift for people of Pakistan and especially Karachi. These boats will be latest and having all safeties.

Bahria Foundation is also planning to develop recreational Resorts in Karachi/Hub areas and these resorts will have facilities of International standard with sea training facilities.

Akber Naqi in a conversion said that first time in the Bahria Foundation under the patronage of is also running large number of schools/colleges all over Pakistan and also running Bahria Travels, Bahria Security, Bahria Pharmacy etc.
