NAB submits charge sheet against Fawad Hasan Fawad in NAB Court

Startling revelations made by NAB, nexus between Fawad Hasan Fawad and JS Bank exposed

LAHORE: National Accountability Bureau (NAB) has made startling revelations in Fawad Hasan Fawad case and found nexus between him and the JS Bank.

In its report submitted before the court on March 3, NAB claimed to obtain proofs of the nexus between JS Bank and Fawad Hassan Fawad in corruption of billions rupees. According to report, assets of Principal Secretary have also jumped from Rs 2.7 million to billions of rupee during the tenure of Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif, Hum TV reported.

Fawad Hasan Fawad has obtained loans for a commercial plaza at Sadar in Rawalpindi for converting black money into white. It added that the commercial plaza was purchased and constructed with the help of JS Group and its subsidiaries.

It was also reported that the former principal secretary of Ex-Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif transferred the ownership of plaza to his family through JS Group in different phases. Fawad Hassan Fawad acquired worth Rs 3.45 loan from JS Bank, the report said.

It was also revealed that JS Bank transferred Rs 150 million to Fawad Hassan Fawad using Sprint Services Rawalpindi Limited.

Earlier, the NAB arrested senior bureaucrat Fawad Hassan Fawad in various corruption cases, including the Rs 14 billion Ashiana Iqbal Housing Scheme scandal.

The former aide to the Sharif brothers was also allegedly employed by Bank Alfalah although his request had been declined by the secretary establishment, and Sprint Energy (a JS Group subsidiary), where he allegedly prepared fake no-objection certificates for transfer of the site of a CNG pump from one district to another.
