ABU DHABI: Pakistan beat Australia by 373 runs in the second and final Test on the fourth day in Abu Dhabi, taking the series 1-0 on Friday.

Medium pacer Mohammad Abbas dismantled Australian batting with a 10-wicket haul as Pakistan beat the tourists by 373 runs in the second and final Abu Dhabi Test to clinch the series 1-0.

While chasing a daunting 538-run target, Australia were bowled out for 164 as Mohammad Abbas floored the Australian middle order, putting the hosts only two wickets away from a victory in the second and final test

Chasing a mammoth target of 538, Marnus Labuschagne top-scored with 43 while Travis Head made 36 and Aaron Finch 31.

The tourists had added just 24 runs to their overnight score of 47-1 when Abbas broke through by having Travis Head (36) caught behind.

Man-of-the-Match and Series Abbas followed up his first innings figures of 5-33 with 5-62 in the second innings to wrap up a brilliant UAE tour with a total of 17 wickets.

The first Test ended in a draw in Dubai last week.
