PM Imran Khan presents PSX Top Companies Award to Arif Habib Ltd

KARACHI: Arif Habib Limited (AHL), one of Pakistan’s leading and largest Brokerage and Investment Banking Firms has been recognised amongst the Top 25 Companies by the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX).
AHL is one of the six companies that have been recognised as a Top Company for all of the last three years (2016, 2017 & 2018). The PSX Top 25 Companies award is evaluated based on capital efficiency, profitability, free float of shares, transparency, corporate governance & investor relations, compliance with listing of companies & securities regulations and dividend pay-outs.
Prime Minister Imran Khan, graced the occasion as Chief Guest and presented the Awards to the winners.
Arif Habib, Chairman, Arif Habib Group received the award on behalf of the company. Mr Habib appreciated the team of AHL, praising their hard work and dedication which has led to this recognition for the fifth consecutive year. He also said that PSX’s recognition of AHL is a testament of the Company’s excellent financial and managerial performance.
Every year, the PSX announce the names of the top 25 companies for the year 2018 that have been selected on the basis of the highest score obtained as per the criteria for selection of top companies.
The companies name who were selected are Fauji Fertilizer Co Ltd, Al-Ghazi Tractors Ltd, Archroma Pakistan Ltd, Millat Tractors Ltd, Security Papers ltd, Lucky Cement ltd, International Industries ltd, Indus Motor CO ltd, International Steels Ltd, Colgate-Palmolive (Pakistan) ltd, IGI Holdings Ltd, Atlas Honda Ltd, MCB Bank Ltd, Arif Habib ltd, Engro Corporation Ltd, Pakistan Oilfields Ltd, Engro Fertilizers Ltd, United bank Ltd, Gadoon Textile Mills Ltd, Dawood Hercules Corporation Ltd, The Hub Power Company Ltd, Pakistan International Container Terminal Ltd, Biafo Industries Ltd, ICI Pakistan Ltd and Attock Petroleum Limited.
