Sazgar to Introduce ARCFOX Electric Vehicles in Pakistan

KARACHI: Sazgar Engineering Works Limited (SEWL) has announced plans to introduce ARCFOX New Energy Vehicles (NEVs) in Pakistan, expanding the company’s portfolio of electric and new-energy vehicles in the local market.

According to a notice issued by the company, Sazgar intends to bring ARCFOX vehicles to Pakistan as part of its efforts to further expand its presence in the country’s growing new-energy vehicle segment.

ARCFOX is a high-end intelligent electric vehicle brand of BAIC Group, one of China’s major automotive manufacturers. The brand focuses on premium electric vehicles that combine advanced technology, intelligent driving features and modern vehicle design.

Sazgar said ARCFOX brings together premium design and advanced technology, with its engineering and technology development involving collaborations with global companies, including Magna and Huawei.

The planned introduction of ARCFOX vehicles would add another premium electric vehicle brand to Sazgar’s existing NEV portfolio in Pakistan. The move comes as automakers and consumers increasingly turn their attention toward electric and new-energy vehicles amid growing interest in fuel-efficient and environmentally friendly transportation.

Sazgar Engineering Works has been expanding its presence in Pakistan’s automotive sector, particularly in the new-energy vehicle market. The company has previously introduced electric and hybrid vehicle offerings in Pakistan and has been increasing its focus on technologies aimed at reducing dependence on conventional fuel-powered vehicles.

The introduction of ARCFOX is expected to broaden the range of electric vehicles available to Pakistani consumers, particularly in the premium segment. Magna, meanwhile, is a major global automotive supplier and engineering company with operations across multiple international markets.

Sazgar did not provide details in the announcement regarding the specific ARCFOX models that will be introduced in Pakistan, their launch dates, pricing or production and assembly arrangements.
