Shah Mahmood says US Congress report on Kashmir is very significant
1 min readForeign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi on Thursday said that recent report issued by the Lantas Commission of US Congress on the situation of Occupied Kashmir is very important, which exposed that India is violating the human rights in the valley.
Addressing the fifth session of the Kashmir Cell at Foreign Office in Islamabad on Thursday, he said the whole world including human rights organizations and international media are raising voice against Indian brutalities in Occupied Kashmir.
He said they are also demanding for lifting grave curfew and restoration of human rights of under siege Kashmiris.
The meeting was attended by Prime Minister Azad Kashmir Raja Farooq Haider, Law Minister Faroogh Naseem, Chairman Kashmir Committee Syed Fakhar Imam, Special Assistant Dr Firdous Ashiq Awan, and others.
