Shazad G. Dada appointed as President & CEO of United Bank Limited

KARACHI: The board of directors of United Bank Limited (UBL) Thursday announced that Shazad G. Dada has been appointed as President and Chief Executive Officers (CEO) of UBL for a period of three years.
The sources said that the appointment of Shahzad G Dada is subject to the approval of the State Bank of Pakistan and compliance with all applicable laws, rules and regulations in this regard.
According to the notification at Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) Website, “the Board of Directors of ubl in its meeting held on May 6, 2020 has decided to appoint Shahzad G Dada as president and CEO of UBL with effect from July 1, 2020 for a term of 3 years.”
The Board of Directors, while acknowledging the invaluable contribution of the outgoing President & CEO Ms. Sima Kamil, stated that under her leadership the Bank has achieved significant milestones. The Board has further decided that that Ms. Sima Kamil who is completing her 3 years term on 31 May 2020 will continue to perform as President & CEO till 30 June, 2020.
