Sindh govt issues notice to City School, Beaconhouse for cancellation of their registration

KARACHI: The Sindh government on Wednesday issued a notice for cancellation of The City School and Beaconhouse registration of over the failure to comply with court orders over the fee hike.
In October this year, the Sindh High Court directed the private schools not to increase fees by more than 5 per cent and ordered them to accept dues as per the old fee structure.
The registration of 56 campuses of The City School and 65 of Beaconhouse would be cancelled, if they did not comply the court order within seven days, the notification said.
The notice sent to these schools by the Directorate of Inspection/Registration of Private Institutions said that if the schools implement court orders within seven days they would be allowed to open registration. If they fail to comply, the campuses of these schools would be sealed.
