Suzuki launches ‘Every’ in place of Bolan
2 min readKARACHI: Pak Suzuki Motor Company Saturday launched its locally assembled Suzuki ‘Every’ in place of Bolan, which was discontinued few weeks ago.
The spokesman of the Pak Suzuki Motor has said, “we are thrilled to announce the launch of a great event of our new product, the “Suzuki Every” on October 12, 2024. Explore the spacious comfort, advanced safety features and remarkable efficiency that distinguish this product.”
A display of the “Suzuki Every” along with test drive opportunities will be available on Sunday, October 13, 2024, till 5:00 PM at all authorized Suzuki show-rooms all over Pakistan.
All authorized dealers of Suzuki Company throughout the country have been directed to start booking of the Suzuki ‘Every’ from October 10 this year.
Suzuki Every’s engine and performance are fairly modest. It has a 660cc engine mated to a 5-speed manual transmission, which can produce 49hp and 62Nm of torque.
It is designed primarily for city driving and light-duty tasks, so while it’s not a powerhouse, it gets the job done for everyday use, such as short commutes, school runs, or transporting light cargo.
The company will launch two variants, VX and VXR, and the major differences could be the absence of AC, MP3 audio system, rear wiper, and all manual windows in the base variant
The launching of this new vehicle ends circulating rumours in the local market for over two years. The company confirmed that the discontinuation of Suzuki Bolan almost four decades. This was a clear hint that the old-age vehicle was going to be replaced by Suzuki ‘Every’.
Our source said that the expected price of the upcoming Suzuki ‘Every’ will be around Rs 2.6 million. The Bolan price was around Rs 1.94 million.
Earlier, Lahore High Court ordered in 2021 to ensure all car companies assembling vehicles in Pakistan to fix airbags. However, the company at that time refused to do it, but in 2022, it offered AC variant of Suzuki Bolan which unfortunately lived very shortly and was discontinued in the same year.
In the last auto show in Lahore, the company revealed that the new ‘Every’ will be launched soon, but the launch kept delaying due to different reasons including implication of letter of Credits (LCs) and subsequently import of CKD kits etc.
The people were buying Bolan because there was no other option until the launch of Changan Karvaan. Suzuki Bolan had been criticized for very basic and decade-old shape, absence of comfort and kind of a hazard on the roads. The consumers have been demanding its replacement and it seems Suzuki has finally listened.
It was a long wait for Pakistani consumers because the vehicle Bolan was surely outdated, without any major safety features.
