Upcoming drama “Make Me Tingle” has released a new teaser
The upcoming Korean drama “Make Me Tingle” has released a new teaser, giving viewers a closer look at its unusual romantic comedy storyline and the contrasting personalities at the centre of the series.
The drama follows Gong Yeon Su, played by Nam Ji Hyun, a young woman who believes in love but has struggled to understand what love truly means in her own life. Raised in a traditional household where discipline, courtesy and social values are strongly emphasised, Yeon Su approaches relationships cautiously and maintains clear boundaries with her boyfriend.
In the newly released teaser, Yeon Su is shown trying to navigate her everyday life while remaining faithful to the principles she has grown up with. Her conservative outlook becomes particularly evident when she refuses to take her relationship with her boyfriend further, telling him that she is not ready for physical affection.
Her life takes an unexpected turn when she crosses paths with Dokgo Dal, portrayed by Kim Jae Yeong, the confident CEO of a sex-toy startup. Unlike Yeon Su, Dokgo Dal has a more open-minded approach to relationships and sexuality and encourages people to question social prejudices surrounding intimacy.
One of the teaser’s notable scenes shows Dokgo Dal promoting condoms at a club while highlighting the importance of safe sex. When asked about his business, he openly identifies his company as a sex-toy company, reflecting the drama’s unconventional and humorous approach to its subject matter.
The two characters gradually become connected through a marketing collaboration involving Dokgo Dal’s company and its products. Their partnership brings Yeon Su into an unfamiliar environment, forcing her to confront ideas about love, relationships and intimacy that she previously viewed differently.
At one point, Yeon Su questions whether such products are really necessary to prove love, while Dokgo Dal challenges her to reconsider her preconceived ideas.
As their relationship develops, Yeon Su begins to experience a gradual change in her outlook. Her growing feelings for Dokgo Dal introduce another layer to the story, as she finds herself increasingly attracted to his personality and charm.
“Make Me Tingle” is expected to combine romance, comedy and coming-of-age themes while exploring how two people with very different backgrounds can influence each other’s understanding of relationships.
With Nam Ji Hyun and Kim Jae Yeong leading the cast, the new teaser has generated interest among Korean drama fans looking for a romantic comedy with a different storyline and unconventional characters.
