Avanceon going to offer its expert services for a Sewage Treatment Plant in Qatar

DOHA (Qatar): Avanceon Automation and Control WLL (subsidiary of Avanceon Limited) has been awarded a contract to provide control and automation support services for the design, engineering, installation, testing and commissioning of a high-end Power Management System (PMS) for a Sewage Treatment Plant in Qatar, company said in a notice at Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX).

For this project, Avanceon engineering team will serve as focal point for coordinating various activities for the successful commissioning of PMS.

Once deployed, PMS will help customer in reducing the number and duration of unplanned outages, cutting down energy consumption, improving equipment maintenance, optimizing key equipment’s loading and reducing liability with reporting and tracking.

Project’s detailed scope of work includes:

1. Design, engineering, manufacturing and supply of PMS control panel cabinet as per provided schematics and design specifications

2. Coordinate activities and provide expert support to sub-vendors during PMS’s engineering design and development phases

3. Coordinate activates during Factory Acceptance Test (FAT) and Site Commissioning (which includes RTU configuration, cabinet testing, point to point IO Testing, network verification, software configuration, PMS software configuration and testing as per approved design specifications) phases

4. Check and verify all PMS functionalities defined in the approved FDS and final handover to end user Avanceon aims to complete the project within the agreed timeline. HAZOP study will be carried out before the start of the project with failsafe plans to address any safety, quality and environmental issues.
