Pakistan bounced back strongly in the quarter-finals, defeating Oman 7-2 to book a place in the last four. In the semi-final, Pakistan staged a remarkable fightback against arch-rivals India, recovering from a three-goal deficit to level the match at 3-3, but India scored late to secure a 4-3 victory.
