NAB sends three references in the fake accounts case
NAB has prepared three references in the fake accounts case and sent them to the NAB headquarters for approval.
An emergency executive board meeting has been summoned today (Tuesday) by NAB Chairperson Javed Iqbal to discuss these cases.
Former prime minister Yousuf Raza Gillani appeared before the bureau on Tuesday for questioning in the same fake accounts case. He was interrogated about his gifting cars during his tenure as prime minister.
NAB says he gifted cars to PPP Co-Chairperson Asif Ali Zardari and former prime minister Nawaz Sharif. There is a chance that Nawaz may also be summoned for interrogation in the case.
The bureau wants to know how he gave these cars as gifts. He was also questioned about partiality towards the Sindh government during his tenure.
