Fateh-II Missile Successfully Launched
Pakistan on Tuesday conducted a successful training launch of its indigenously developed Fateh-II missile system, the military said in an official statement.
According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the launch was carried out by the Army Rocket Force Command as part of routine training aimed at enhancing operational preparedness.
The Fateh-II missile system is equipped with advanced avionics and state-of-the-art navigational aids, designed to improve precision and overall effectiveness.
The purpose of the training launch was to train troops, validate key technical parameters, and evaluate the performance of various sub-systems integrated into the missile. Officials noted that these improvements are intended to ensure greater accuracy and enhanced survivability in modern combat scenarios.
The test was witnessed by senior officers from the Strategic Plans Division, Army Rocket Force Command, and the Pakistan Army, along with scientists and engineers from strategic organizations. The participants expressed satisfaction over the successful launch and commended the development of the indigenously produced Fateh series missile.
Pakistan’s President, Prime Minister, Chief of Defence Forces, and Services Chiefs congratulated the teams involved, praising their technical expertise, dedication, and commitment in achieving this milestone.
The military reiterated that such training exercises are part of ongoing efforts to maintain a credible defense posture while contributing to regional stability.
