Oman Foreign Minister to Visit Tehran to Strengthen Cooperation
TEHRAN: Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Esmaeil Baghaei said that Oman’s Foreign Minister Sayyid Badr Albusaidi will visit Tehran on tomorrow (Tuesday) to further strengthen bilateral cooperation.
Esmaeil Baghaei said the visit aims to strengthen bilateral cooperation between Iran and Oman and promote peace and stability in the Gulf Region.
In an address here on Monday, he said political consultations among the coastal states of the Strait of Hormuz will also be advanced during his visit.
“Iran will not accept U.S. economic pressure under any circumstances, describing Washington’s economic sanctions against Iran as illegal,” the Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesperson said.
Baghaei further said Pakistan is making efforts to help reduce tensions in the region adding the relation between Tehran and Islamabad ‘passing through one of their best stages’.
Bulgaria’s cooperation in the US attack on Iran constitutes aggression, says Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesperson. Iran reserves the right to respond to any aggression, he added.
Field Marshal Asim Munir departs for Tehran: ISPR
According to to Inter-Service Public Relations (ISPR), the Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir has departed for Tehran. Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi is accompanying the Field Marshal on the visit.
The visit is part of Pakistan’s efforts to promote peace and stability in the Gulf region. Field Marshal Asim Munir will focus on efforts aimed at finding a resolution to the ongoing conflict in the Middle East, ISPR said.
