CAA to allow international flight operation in Pakistan from August 9
1 min readISLAMABAD: Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) has resumed all types of flight operation as Pakistan’s coronavirus situation continues improving. All airlines operating in the country have been notified in this regard.
A notice issued by the Civil Aviation Authority said international flight operation is being resumed at all airports, starting from midnight, August 9.
It is to be noted that in view of the coronavirus pandemic, Pakistan had suspended all international flights on March 21 and domestic flights on March 26.
Now, domestic inbound and outbound flights will be resumed and international travel will be carried out in accordance with the set guidelines. In addition, international cargo and special flight operations will also be resumed under defined SOPs.
Another notice issued by the CAA states that local passengers will be allowed to travel to and from all airports. This came after yesterday’s announcement that local flights from all airports of the country would be resumed from noon, August 6.
