Aqeel Karim denies warning/notice circulating against Bahria BK-2
Agencies has been requested to investigate, apprehend and prosecute the persons involved in circulating false notice/warning against Bahria BK-2
KARACHI: A prominent businessman of Karachi, Aqeel Karim Dhedhi denied a warning/notice circulating in which it is being claimed that Malik Riaz is being launched on his property Bahria BK-2.
In a notice issued by AKD’s legal firm Atta-ur Rehman Company said, “the AKD Group alleging that a project namely Bahria BK-2 of Malik Riaz is being launched on a property which is owned by Aqeel Karim Dedhi and that Malik Riaz in collusion with government officials has illegally taken over the possession of the same.”
The notice further alleged, “all legal proceedings in relation to this purported action of Malik Riaz have been taken in both National Accountability Bureau and the Supreme Court of Pakistan.” The notice concluded by saying that the general public should not invest or book any units in the said project.
The AKD’s legal firms said that neither Aqeel Karim Dhedhi nor the AKD Group and any other person or entity associated with Aqeel Karim Dhedhi or operating under the AKD Group has authorized, either expressly or otherwise, the authorship, production, publication or circulation of the aforementioned public notice/warning. Neither Aqeel Karim Dhedhi nor the AKD Group nor any other person or entity associated with Aqeel Karim Dhedhi or operating under AKD Group endorses or affirms in any manner or way the contents of the above mentioned public notice/warning.
The firm said that on behalf of our clients Aqeel Karim Dhedhi and the AKD Group, the general public is hereby informed that on March 3, 2021, a public warning/notice has been circulated by some unknown persons or person purportedly acting on behalf of Aqeel Karim Dedhi
AKD’s legal firm further claimed, the law enforcing agencies has been requested to investigate, apprehend and prosecute the persons involved in authoring, producing, publishing and circulating the aforementioned false notice/warning.
